Job Summary
The Production Supervisor is entrusted with overseeing the daily packing schedules and operations within a third-party logistics (3PL) facility, ensuring that both production goals and quality benchmarks are consistently achieved. This role encompasses the training of personnel, the supervision of fruit quality, and the adherence to established food safety and traceability regulations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily packing schedules and manufacturing operations.
- Ensure that production targets and quality standards are met consistently.
- Train and develop staff to maintain high performance and quality.
- Monitor fruit quality to uphold product standards.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and traceability protocols.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in produce packing or repacking operations.
- Strong understanding of food safety programs and practices.
- Demonstrated capability to lead and motivate diverse teams.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is essential.
- A hands-on approach to quality control and operational management.
