Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician/Operator plays a critical role in the upkeep, diagnosis, and repair of various manufacturing machinery such as welding equipment, presses, and conveyor systems. This position also involves the application of LEAN methodologies and adherence to safety regulations, collaborating closely with production staff to optimize operations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
- Repair welding machines, presses, and conveyors in a timely manner.
- Implement LEAN processes to enhance productivity and minimize waste.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and protocols during maintenance tasks.
- Work in collaboration with production workers to identify and resolve equipment issues.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Technical training or trade certification is highly preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing or fabrication setting is desirable.
