Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician position at Associates Inc is a part-time role intended for the Hazelwood Community in Portland, Oregon. This position is essential for ensuring the functionality and upkeep of the multi-family properties managed by Viridian Management, Inc. The technician will be responsible for addressing maintenance requests and conducting necessary repairs while maintaining documentation of the work performed.
Responsibilities
- Respond to maintenance work orders and service requests in a timely manner.
- Perform repairs and general maintenance tasks across the properties.
- Document completed repairs and maintenance activities for record-keeping.
- Ensure safety standards and protocols are followed while on site.
- Collaborate with the management team to support the overall maintenance strategy.
Qualifications
- Experience in maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Basic proficiency in troubleshooting and repair techniques.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and residents.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable transportation to commute to various property locations as required.
