Job Summary
The Mammography Technologist plays a pivotal role in utilizing imaging technology to generate superior quality breast images, prioritizing patient safety and comfort throughout the process. This position requires a commitment to high standards of imaging services and effective collaboration with medical professionals.
Responsibilities
- Operate mammography imaging equipment to capture high-quality breast images.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures.
- Conduct quality assurance tasks to uphold imaging standards.
- Communicate effectively with radiologists and fellow team members.
Qualifications
- Current ARRT certification is mandatory.
- Willingness to obtain Mammography Certification within one year of employment.
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
