Job Summary
The Manufacturing Engineer will engage in engineering initiatives and create detailed technical drawings that convert engineering and architectural concepts into comprehensive plans for products and structures. This role involves collaboration with various engineering teams and professionals to ensure clarity around design specifications, and it utilizes AutoCAD for modifications. The manufacturing engineer will also manage purchase orders for tooling and equipment while checking design documentation for accuracy and adherence to industry regulations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in engineering projects
- Produce technical drawings that outline precise plans for product and structure development
- Facilitate project reviews among different departments and stakeholders
- Create and track follow-up documentation to oversee project progress
- Provide support for prototype pilot build processes
Qualifications
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Skilled in AutoCAD (both 2D and 3D)
- Capable of interpreting design sketches and specifications to develop technical drawings
- Familiarity with engineering protocols and industry standards
- Adept at conducting physical measurements for layout creation
- Experience with manufacturing tools and equipment
Additional Skills
- Background in automotive/truck industry manufacturing
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
