Job description
Job Summary
The ED/STAT Diagnostic Remote Radiologist is responsible for providing prompt and accurate radiological interpretations on emergency and stat cases remotely. This role is vital in supporting healthcare providers with timely diagnoses, ensuring quality patient care during critical situations.
Responsibilities
- Review and interpret medical imaging studies with a focus on emergency and stat cases.
- Deliver timely reports and recommendations to clinical teams.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with established protocols and guidelines in radiology.
- Participate in continuous education and professional development activities.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Current board certification in Radiology.
- Proven experience in emergency radiology is highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote setting.
- Active medical license in the state of practice.
