Job Summary
The position of Cardiothoracic Remote Radiologist involves the interpretation and analysis of cardiothoracic imaging studies, providing essential diagnostic insights while working remotely. This role is critical for delivering quality healthcare through precise imaging evaluations that support patient management and treatment plans.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and interpret a range of cardiothoracic imaging modalities.
- Deliver comprehensive reports on imaging findings to collaborating healthcare providers.
- Engage in multidisciplinary team discussions to optimize patient care.
- Stay current with advancements in radiology and imaging techniques.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and protocols in all radiological practices.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) with specialized training in radiology.
- Board certification in radiology, with a subspecialty in cardiothoracic imaging preferred.
- Proven experience in interpreting cardiothoracic images.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with healthcare teams.
- Familiarity with telemedicine technologies and remote working practices.
