Job description
**Job Title: Material Handler Trainee**
The Material Handler Trainee is responsible for operating textile balers and forklifts to handle the processing of donated items, in addition to assisting with the loading and unloading of trucks for delivery routes. This position involves ensuring a clean and safe workplace by managing waste and organizing inventory within the warehouse and production areas. Applicants must be a minimum of 18 years of age and physically capable of lifting heavy items frequently, with weights often reaching up to 100 lbs. Although a high school diploma or GED is desirable, the successful candidate must also be willing to acquire forklift certification within the first two weeks of employment and should be adaptable with their work schedule.
