Job description
The Meat Manager plays a pivotal role in leading the meat department with a focus on strategic management, financial stewardship, vendor engagement, and bolstering sales performance. This position entails overseeing the recruitment and training of team members while ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and operational procedures. Applicants should possess significant experience in retail management, a strong understanding of sales techniques, and expertise in butchery. Additionally, candidates must have the physical capacity to lift weights up to 50 lbs and the technical proficiency to safely handle meat processing machinery.
