Job description
Job Summary
The Mechanical Designer is responsible for the development and design of mechanical systems and components. This role emphasizes creativity and technical expertise to produce innovative solutions that meet project requirements and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical systems and components while adhering to project specifications.
- Create detailed engineering drawings and models using CAD software.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize designs for functionality and manufacturability.
- Conduct feasibility studies and analyses to validate design concepts.
- Participate in prototyping, testing, and evaluation of mechanical systems.
- Document design changes and gather feedback from stakeholders throughout the development process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in product design and development is preferred.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
