Job Summary
The role involves leading design initiatives in mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for a range of facility projects, guiding them from initial concept stages to final execution. The candidate will provide expert technical guidance, mentor less experienced engineers, and collaborate with various teams to guarantee that projects meet high standards of quality and adhere to applicable codes.
Responsibilities
- Oversee designs for mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems across multiple facility projects.
- Mentor junior engineering staff to enhance their skills and project understanding.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure cohesive project development.
- Deliver projects that comply with regulatory standards and maintain exceptional quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 4 to 8 years of relevant experience in designing building systems.
- Possession of, or eligibility to obtain, a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD software.
