Job Summary
The Medical Assistant plays a vital role in supporting healthcare providers by performing various clinical and administrative tasks. They help ensure that patients receive high-quality care and that the healthcare facility operates efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures.
- Perform routine laboratory tests and prepare samples for analysis.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient records accurately.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians.
- Provide education and support to patients regarding their health and treatments.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a medical assistant training program preferred.
- Certification from a recognized medical assisting organization is advantageous.
- Preferred experience in a healthcare or clinical setting.
