The Medical Assistant performs patient care functions, including measuring vital signs, administering injections, and conducting routine laboratory tests. They also manage patient flow, maintain medical records in the EHR, and ensure clinical areas are clean and compliant with HIPAA regulations. Candidates must hold a professional certificate and current CPR certification. Proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred, along with experience in an FQHC setting and familiarity with electronic health record systems.
