Job Summary
The MS/TELE RN position is geared towards experienced registered nurses who specialize in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing. This role demands a high level of clinical expertise and the ability to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment, with an emphasis on critical thinking and effective communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients on medical-surgical and telemetry units.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and overall health status.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about health management and recovery processes.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Provide support and guidance to junior nursing staff and nursing students as required.
Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted RN license in the relevant state.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Previous experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry setting is a plus.
- Strong assessment, organizational, and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
