Job Summary
The MS/TELE RN position requires a dedicated and experienced registered nurse to provide high-quality care in a Medical/Surgical and Telemetry unit. Candidates must demonstrate excellence in clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment that promotes patient care and safety.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Medical/Surgical and Telemetry units.
- Assess patients’ conditions regularly and monitor vital signs and symptoms.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Document patient progress and interventions accurately in electronic health records.
- Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and health management.
- Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions, providing immediate intervention as required.
- Participate in nursing shifts to ensure continuous, quality patient care.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Experience in Medical/Surgical and Telemetry nursing.
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- BLS and ACLS certification may be required.
