Job Summary
The Medical Assistant plays a crucial role in delivering patient care by carrying out a variety of tasks aimed at supporting healthcare providers and ensuring a smooth clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Collect and document intake information from patients.
- Measure and record vital signs.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Assist healthcare providers in various testing procedures and treatments.
- Provide patient education on health-related topics.
- Ensure clinical areas are well-organized and fully stocked with necessary supplies.
Qualifications
- Completion of a Medical Assisting educational program or equivalent training.
- Current certification in CPR/BLS.
- Preferred: National certification as a Medical Assistant.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
