Medical Assistant
Jupiter, FL
Pay Rate: $20/hour
The Medical Assistant 2 position is designed to assist physicians and care teams, acting as a reliable bilingual liaison for patients. This role is perfect for someone who excels in a dynamic outpatient setting and values teamwork. Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant 2 include:
· Preparing and welcoming patients for their appointments
· Taking and documenting vital signs
· Inquiring about symptoms and collecting patient details
· Inputting information into Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
· Administering injections as allowed by certification
· Conducting diagnostic tests
· Gathering specimens and lab samples
· Performing blood draws and other phlebotomy tasks
· Cleaning and sterilizing medical equipment
· Maintaining and organizing examination rooms
· Working in close coordination with physicians and nursing personnel
Qualifications for the Medical Assistant 2 include:
· 1–3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a back-office or direct patient care environment
· Bilingual in English and Spanish
· Active Medical Assistant certification or registration (CMA/RMA)
· Current CPR Certification
· Less than 2 years of professional leadership experience
· Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare setting
· Proficient in Microsoft Outlook
· Basic computer proficiency
