**Job Title: Medical Assistant**
The Medical Assistant is responsible for conducting preliminary patient intake, measuring vital signs, and ensuring examination rooms are well-maintained within a correctional environment. This position involves delivering treatments, overseeing medication documentation, and carrying out phlebotomy tasks as directed by a physician. Applicants must have a valid Medical Assistant Certification and demonstrate strong communication and typing abilities. The job demands a capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously as well as a solid understanding of medical terminology and equipment.
