**Job Title: Medical Assistant**
The Medical Assistant is responsible for executing fundamental medical, patient care, and administrative tasks that aid healthcare providers in a primary care environment. Key duties encompass getting patients ready for examinations, administering immunizations, collecting laboratory samples, and ensuring precise maintenance of electronic health records. Applicants should possess a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of one year of experience in a medical office, ideally in a pediatric context. A strong understanding of medical terminology, proficiency with electronic health records, and knowledge of clinical procedures are essential.
