**Licensed Practical Nurse**
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a crucial role in aiding healthcare providers to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care in an outpatient clinic setting. Key duties involve gathering initial patient data, assisting with the rooming process and scheduling appointments, managing prescriptions, and keeping medical records updated. Applicants must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent and have completed an Associate or Vocational degree from an LPN program accredited by the Board of Nursing. Certification in BLS and an active LPN license in the state of Minnesota are also mandatory.
