The Medical Assistant will support clinicians in an STI clinic by performing routine medical tasks such as venipuncture, injections, and specimen collection. They are also responsible for preparing exam rooms, documenting patient care in electronic records, and assisting with patient education. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and a Certificate of Completion as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program. At least one year of experience in medical assisting, including venipuncture and injections, is required.
