Job description
**Job Title: Medical Assistant**
The Medical Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting patient appointments and procedures, conducting standard laboratory tests, and overseeing the patient flow in an outpatient care environment. Additionally, they are tasked with recording patient care in the EPIC electronic medical records system and contributing to quality improvement initiatives. Candidates should possess a certificate from an accredited medical assisting program, or alternatively, a High School Diploma/GED along with one year of pertinent experience. It is essential for applicants to obtain Medical Assistant certification within six months of employment.
