**Medical Director**
The Medical Director is responsible for offering clinical leadership and oversight for the hospice program, acting as the main resource for the interdisciplinary team. Key responsibilities encompass ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, overseeing patient care protocols, and serving as a community ambassador for hospice services. Applicants must hold a valid MD or DO license in the state, without any restrictions, and should possess active registrations for controlled substances. A background in hospice, palliative care, or end-of-life medicine is essential, paired with robust clinical judgment and a dedication to the principles of hospice care.
