Job Summary
The Medical Equipment Technician plays a crucial role in providing respiratory and home medical devices to patients. This position involves setting up, maintaining, and instructing both patients and caregivers on the proper and safe use of equipment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and install respiratory and home medical equipment for patients.
- Educate patients and caregivers on the safe operation of devices.
- Conduct assessments of patients to ensure proper equipment usage.
- Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to equipment management.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or its equivalent is necessary.
- Prior experience in healthcare, field service, or delivery is preferred.
- A valid and unrestricted driver’s license is required for this role.
