Job Summary
The Medical Equipment Delivery Driver is responsible for the timely and safe transportation of medical equipment to various healthcare facilities and patients’ homes. This role ensures that all deliveries are completed with care and adhere to established protocols, providing excellent service to promote patient well-being.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate the delivery vehicle to transport medical equipment to designated locations.
- Load and unload medical equipment, ensuring all items are secured properly.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for accountability.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients regarding delivery schedules and equipment operations.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on the vehicle to ensure operational safety.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during transportation and delivery processes.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in delivery or transportation, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication abilities with a customer service focus.
