**Medical Laboratory Scientist**
The Medical Laboratory Scientist conducts analytical tests within the Blood Bank and is tasked with providing accurate and prompt reporting of results that are essential for patient diagnostics. Responsibilities include managing specimen processing, ensuring quality control, performing equipment upkeep, and adhering to regulatory compliance standards. Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, or a similar discipline. Certification from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or an equivalent certification is mandatory, or it must be secured within the first year of employment.
