The Medical Reviewer is responsible for assessing requests, claims, and treatment authorizations associated with prosthetic and orthotic devices to confirm they comply with medical necessity and coverage criteria. This role involves working closely with clinical and operational teams to record findings and facilitate precise and prompt claims decisions. Applicants should have hands-on experience as a Prosthetic and Orthotic practitioner and hold appropriate certifications. Exceptional analytical abilities and the capacity to understand intricate medical documentation and regulatory guidelines are crucial for success in this position.
