Job description
The NEMT driver plays a crucial role in providing safe transportation for passengers to their medical appointments while assisting them with boarding and mobility aids. It is essential for them to keep precise trip records and ensure regular vehicle inspections and maintenance. Applicants are required to hold a valid driver’s license with a spotless driving history and must be able to successfully undergo background checks and drug tests. While prior experience in passenger transportation is advantageous, certification in CPR and First Aid is also desired.
