Job description

Job Summary

The Mobile Crisis Service Provider plays a vital role in delivering immediate, on-the-ground support to individuals facing mental health crises. This position requires a compassionate approach and a proactive strategy to engage clients during critical moments, ultimately aiming to stabilize situations and connect them to necessary resources.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to calls for mental health crises in a timely manner.
  • Provide immediate assessment and interventions to individuals in distress.
  • Collaborate with community services and stakeholders to facilitate ongoing support.
  • Document interactions and maintain compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Participate in debriefing sessions and training as required.

Qualifications

  • A degree in psychology, social work, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in crisis intervention and mental health support is highly beneficial.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of local mental health resources and services.
