Job Summary
The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures in a clinical setting on an as-needed basis. This role requires a skilled professional who can ensure patient safety while delivering high-quality imaging services in accordance with established protocols.
Responsibilities
- Conduct MRI examinations, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
- Operate MRI equipment accurately to capture detailed images.
- Maintain thorough documentation of patient information and imaging results.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss imaging findings.
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications
- Valid MRI Technologist certification from an accredited organization.
- State licensure as required.
- Experience in MRI technology preferred, with knowledge of imaging techniques.
- Strong communication skills and patient interaction abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
