Job description
The Mohs Histotechnician plays a crucial role in the preparation of skin tissue samples for microscopic analysis, which involves processing and embedding these specimens. This position also requires the preparation of reagents, solutions, control slides, and specialized stains to facilitate the operations of the Mohs surgery laboratory. Applicants should possess a high school diploma or GED along with 1-3 months of relevant healthcare experience or an equivalent from trade school. Preference will be given to candidates with background experience in frozen sectioning, Mohs surgery, or as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA).
