Job description
**Job Title: Monitor Technician**
The Monitor Technician is responsible for continuous observation of patients’ cardiac rhythms, analyzing the data, and promptly relaying any deviations or irregularities to the nursing team. Duties include equipment maintenance, recording rhythm strips, and activating emergency procedures such as code blues. Applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED along with a recognized EKG or arrhythmia certification. Additionally, a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required, and candidates must exhibit proficiency in accurately interpreting cardiac rhythms.
