Job Summary
The Mortgage Loan Originator plays a vital role in establishing business relationships, drawing in clients, and overseeing the complete mortgage loan journey, starting from the application phase right through to closing. This position demands the management of a portfolio that includes both active and finalized loans while adhering to all relevant legal standards and ensuring a high-quality customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop new business connections and cultivate relationships with potential clients.
- Guide customers through the mortgage loan process, from application submission to loan closing.
- Maintain an updated portfolio of loans, ensuring accurate tracking of both active and closed accounts.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements throughout the loan process.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and support to clients throughout their mortgage journey.
Qualifications
- Active NMLS license is required.
- Strong communication skills for effective client interaction.
- Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple loans and clients simultaneously.
- Proficient in using loan processing software and CRM systems.
- In-depth knowledge of mortgage products and legal requirements related to the mortgage industry.
