Job Summary
The MS/Tele RN position involves providing nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical and telemetry unit. This role requires a skilled registered nurse who is adept at monitoring patients’ conditions, administering treatments, and collaborating with healthcare teams to enhance patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and assess their health status regularly.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Coordinate and implement patient care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
- Educate patients and their families regarding health management and treatment procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress.
- Respond to medical emergencies efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Prior experience in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing is advantageous.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
