Job Summary
This position is for a Network and Computer Systems Administrator located at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida. The role involves providing essential support for network and computer systems, ensuring alignment with systems engineering tasks and office operations. Professionals will engage with programs and IT systems related to cybersecurity, thereby playing a key role in the organization’s technological framework.
Responsibilities
- Support and manage network and computer infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with Department of Defense cybersecurity mandates.
- Maintain and troubleshoot routers, switches, and other networking devices.
- Assist in the implementation of IT systems to optimize performance.
Qualifications
- Relevant experience in network administration or systems engineering.
- Completion of an Associate’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
- Understanding of cybersecurity requirements specific to the DoD.
- Experience with network infrastructure components.
