Job Summary
The Network Systems Administrator III position is based in McLean, Virginia, and requires an onsite work arrangement. This role is integral to the management of voice and data networks, ensuring the delivery of reliable services. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of security-focused infrastructure and will work within Aireon’s Network Engineering team to provide essential operational support.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain voice and data network systems to ensure effective delivery and performance.
- Provide operational support to the engineering team, contributing to the project objectives.
- Utilize expertise in security-focused infrastructure to enhance network services.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve network-related issues promptly and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in network administration and/or IT engineering with a strong focus on security practices.
- Strong ability to analyze and resolve technical issues within network systems.
- Proven familiarity with operational protocols and infrastructure management.
