The Network Architect will lead the strategy, roadmap, and architecture for the national optical transport platform, including capacity planning and infrastructure design. They will also oversee the evolution of automation and telemetry systems while providing technical leadership and mentoring to engineering teams. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 5 years of experience designing or operating coherent DWDM/ROADM transport networks. Proficiency in optical link engineering, fiber plant infrastructure, and routed-layer protocols is required.
