Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Network Engineer / Systems Administrator (SA) to join our team in Reston, Virginia. The position is onsite and involves playing a crucial role in enhancing and maintaining our IT infrastructure. This individual will leverage their expertise in information technology and cybersecurity to support our operations efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize the organization’s network and systems performance.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect IT assets.
- Collaborate with the analyst workforce to support ongoing IT initiatives.
- Provide career-long support and guidance to enhance staff competencies.
- Engage in troubleshooting and resolving network/system issues as they arise.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in network engineering and systems administration.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Familiarity with various IT infrastructure technologies and tools.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
