Job description
Job Summary
The Numerical Control Processor is responsible for programming and operating CNC machines to create precision parts and components according to specifications. This position requires attention to detail and expertise in interpreting technical drawings, ensuring that the manufacturing process adheres to established quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Program CNC machinery utilizing G-code and M-code to produce desired components.
- Set up machines by installing tools, fixtures, and workpieces as per specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Modify programs and adjust machine settings for optimal performance.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes.
- Maintain and troubleshoot CNC machines to ensure continuous operation.
- Document production processes and maintain accurate records of work completed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational training is preferred.
- Proven experience in CNC programming and machine operation.
- Strong understanding of technical drawings and blueprints.
- Familiarity with G-code and M-code programming languages.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
