Oversee the behavioral health unit’s operations, budgets, staffing, employee development, regulatory compliance, and progress toward organizational goals. Promote safe, high-quality patient care through clinical support, performance monitoring, quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and collaboration with other leaders. Requires a BSN and five years of department leadership experience, along with a current RN license in Iowa or the applicant’s compact state of residence. Candidates must have effective leadership, communication, problem-solving, project management, and computer skills, plus BCLS certification and any other certifications relevant to the department.
