Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializing in cardiology to join our dynamic healthcare team in San Francisco, CA. This role involves providing high-quality care to patients with cardiovascular conditions, facilitating treatment plans, and collaborating with physicians to optimize patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to inform diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Develop and implement individualized care strategies for patients with cardiac issues.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to enhance patient care.
- Perform diagnostic procedures as necessary and interpret results.
- Educate patients and families on managing cardiovascular health and preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current in cardiology practices.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies.
- Active state license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Certification in Cardiovascular Medicine or related field is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Previous experience in cardiology is an advantage.
