Job Summary
The Emergency Medicine: Rapid Diagnostics Team is searching for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its team at our Rochester, Minnesota facility. This role involves providing independent care while collaborating closely with a team of physicians and other healthcare professionals, contributing to a multidisciplinary approach aimed at improving patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care by conducting patient assessments and formulating treatment plans.
- Work alongside physicians and collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient management.
- Engage in ongoing education and training to maintain proficiency in emergency medicine practices.
- Utilize clinical guidelines and protocols to guide decision-making in patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the delivery of care in the Emergency Department.
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license as recognized by the Minnesota State Board of Medical Practice.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-paced emergency medical environment.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making abilities.
