Job Summary
The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Nephrology will play a critical role in providing comprehensive healthcare within the nephrology specialty. Situated in Phillipsburg, New Jersey, this position involves direct patient care, including assessment and treatment of kidney-related ailments, as well as collaboration with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough medical evaluations and assessments of patients.
- Provide appropriate treatment plans for patients suffering from kidney diseases.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to enhance patient care.
- Interpret radiologic and laboratory results to inform clinical decisions.
- Educate patients and their families regarding kidney health and management strategies.
Qualifications
- Must be a board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Relevant experience in nephrology or a strong background in acute care.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
- Current state licensure to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
