Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our nocturnist team within the realm of hospitalist medicine in North Carolina. This position involves providing essential medical care during nighttime hours, ensuring that our patients receive exceptional attention and treatment throughout their stay.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive healthcare services to patients during the night shift.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments and manage a wide range of medical conditions.
- Provide patient education on health management and treatment options.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (MSN or DNP).
- Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge in hospital medicine.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts.
- Excellent communication skills and a dedication to patient-centered care.
