Job Summary
The role of Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Palliative and Supportive Medicine is a full-time position based in Orland Park, Illinois. This position requires an onsite presence and involves collaboration with medical office sites at Park and Palos Hospital. The incumbent will be engaged in providing comprehensive care, including on-call coverage.
Responsibilities
- Provide holistic patient care in palliative and supportive settings.
- Conduct thorough assessments, including ordering and interpreting laboratory tests and x-rays.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient management.
- Offer on-call support as needed to address patient needs.
Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois.
- Relevant certifications and experience in palliative and supportive medicine are preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
