Job Summary
This position offers an exciting opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant to engage in pre-operative care within the Winfield, Illinois location. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will be crucial in facilitating patient readiness for surgery by conducting assessments and managing pre-operative protocols.
Responsibilities
- Prescribe or order medications and therapeutic interventions.
- Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging studies, and related procedures.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive pre-operative care.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in patient care.
- Assist in patient education regarding pre-operative processes and procedures.
Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois.
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Experience in clinical settings, particularly in pre-operative or surgical environments, is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
