Job Summary
The role of the Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Primary Care is crucial for delivering quality healthcare services. This position is based in Decatur, Mississippi, and operates onsite, under the guidance of the Medical Director or designated staff, ensuring high standards of patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient treatment plans.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations.
- Prescribe medications and manage ongoing treatment plans.
- Educate patients regarding health management and preventive care.
Qualifications
- Possession of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in nursing or a related field.
- Active licensure to practice as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or as a Physician Assistant.
- Strong clinical skills and experience in a primary care setting.
