Job Summary
The Respiratory Therapist plays a vital role in delivering respiratory care within a hospital environment. This includes administering treatments, managing ventilators, conducting patient evaluations, and providing emergency respiratory assistance. Flexibility to work across various Cleveland Clinic facilities is essential.
Responsibilities
- Administer respiratory treatments and assessments to patients.
- Manage ventilators and provide necessary adjustments to optimize patient care.
- Deliver emergency respiratory support as required.
- Float to different Cleveland Clinic facilities when needed.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in respiratory therapy.
- Either CRT or RRT certification is acceptable.
- An active Ohio RT license must be valid at the time of application submission.
- Certification in NBRC and AHA BLS is required.
- Availability to work on weekends when necessary.
Additional Details
- All requests for time off (RTO) must be communicated during the application and interview process.
- A comprehensive work history is mandatory for consideration.
