Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializing in pulmonary inpatient care to join our team in Birmingham, Alabama. This role is integral to providing comprehensive care to our diverse patient population with medically complex pulmonary conditions. The ideal candidate will possess an advanced practice license and demonstrate expertise in managing inpatient pulmonary issues.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage patients with various pulmonary disorders.
- Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging as required.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure effective patient care and treatment plans.
- Provide education and guidance to patients regarding their pulmonary health.
Qualifications
- Current license as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) or Physician Assistant (PA).
- Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) designation is preferred.
- Experience in inpatient care, particularly in pulmonary medicine, is highly advantageous.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient management skills.
