Job Summary
The Nurse Technician is responsible for delivering fundamental patient care services and supporting nursing units under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. This role focuses on assisting patients with daily activities and ensuring a safe and organized environment conducive to effective patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living for patients.
- Conduct routine monitoring of patients’ conditions.
- Maintain a clean and stocked environment in the unit.
- Support Registered Nurses in executing care plans and tasks.
Qualifications
- Must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 60 days of hiring.
- Nurse Assistant Certification is required within 6 months of employment.
- A minimum availability of one shift per week or one shift every other week is needed.
