Nutrition Services Assistant (Float)
6am–2:30pm / 10am–6:30pm | Monday–Friday + Every Other Weekend & Rotating Holidays
Dover, OH | $15/hr
Position Overview:
Assist in the delivery of patient meal services by managing menus, aiding in meal choices, and confirming the accuracy of dietary orders. This floating role will also involve supporting the trayline, working in the dishroom (porter), and handling tray delivery and collection.
Primary Duties:
- Handle the delivery and collection of menus and trays.
- Support patients in selecting meals that align with their dietary requirements.
- Input and confirm menu details within the dietary management system.
- Ensure that trays are accurate and liaise effectively with care units and dietitians.
- Cover tasks on the trayline and in the dishroom; assist with stocking and basic administrative duties.
Requirements:
- Must possess a High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to comprehend dietary terminology.
- Preferred six months of dietary experience.
- Must be capable of lifting more than 30 lbs and adhere to PPE and safety protocols.
