Job Summary
The position of a Remote Cardiothoracic Radiologist requires a skilled medical professional specializing in cardiovascular and thoracic imaging. The primary function of this role is to provide comprehensive interpretation of imaging studies, contribute to patient care, and support clinical teams with specialized expertise.
Responsibilities
- Review and interpret a wide range of cardiothoracic imaging modalities, including CT, MRI, and X-rays.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Provide timely reports and consultative services based on imaging findings.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss complex cases.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in cardiothoracic imaging and participate in ongoing education.
Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O. degree with specialized training in radiology.
- Board certification in radiology, with a focus on cardiothoracic imaging.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for accurate image interpretation.
- Excellent communication abilities to effectively collaborate with medical teams.
- Proficiency in using radiology software and imaging technologies.
